End of the work week....

YEEEAAAHHHHHHH!!!! It is going to be the weekend. Go shopping(grocery, ugh), watch some football(commercials!!!) and hang out with the family. ***content sigh***
Update on Little Monkey and Potty~~~~~~
Little Monkey is really getting the hang of this potty thing, and I am so so so proud and happy for him. We told him if he goes 7 days without making a mess, we would get him a special suprise. Well, I guess this weekend we will have to pick it out, because he has goine for 3 days, and 7 days is coming fast.

All of you that know me personally know that I am the biggest klutz in the world. It's ok, I have embraced it. HAHA. So, Mr. Handsome of all people know this. He watches me hurt myself on a weekly basis, and still doesn't realize it is one of my biggest faults....well, he probably does but does not say it out loud. I have embraced it, but don't want to acknowledge it.
Anyways, Mr. handsome tries to get me to help him move the computer desk to Little Monkey's old room. No problem. it wasn't heavy or anything. The bad part was HE KEPT THE COMPUTER ON IT!!! Come on? Are you kidding me? That is just asking for it. So, I keep my mouth shut because i know i would get the look of "I am man. Hear my words. they are right." from Mr. Handsome. I just help him move it. Well, I am so worried about hurting the darn computer, that i really wasn't paying attention to where i was going. So of course, right when we get the desk into the bedroom, it slips, my end gets caught on the carpet, Mr. Handsome does not realize it is stuck so he keeps on going, and "SNAP!" There goes the end of my desk. It literally broke in two. Thats what we get for buying at walmart at 45 dollars. haha.
So at 830 at night on a Wed. I, because I feel guilty for breaking it, head to target and buy a new desk. It is much better and I really love it.
And that leads me to my second tale.
On the way into Target, i was speaking with my mama, (had to tell her the funny breaking of the computer desk story) and i get the crap scared out of me. I get out of the car and I am gabbing away...all of a sudden, I hear a yell of "HEY!". My heart drops down to my stomach and I go tense...I look around my shoulder and there is a man reaching for me. A big man. OH MY GOSH!!! I really thought he was going to do something...then he has the gall to say "Im not from around here and I have my family in the car, and we have no money for gas...do you have any change?" OK. Now here is where i get a little upset. I tell him i don't have any cash, which i don't, and i walk away. IS THIS MAN SERIOUSLY GOING TO THINK IM GOING TO GIVE IT TO HIM ANYWAYS? First off, you just scared about 10 years off of my life, and don't you know not to come up to single women by them self in a dark parking lot? really? I felt bad after a little bit.... I mean, I'm not that unfeeling, but he just went it about the wrong way, plus i really didn't have any cash so what could i have done? I think God would understand, as I gave a guy in the walmart parking lot a few weeks ago who did the exact same thing a 10 dollar bill. So there, I really am compassionate. Just don't scare me!

GOOD GOIN MONKEY!!!

My son had a great great night last night!!! He went, drum roll please, poop on the big boy potty!! OK, so this might be a little off kilter, but at least i didn't take a pic of the actual poop!!!!!Here he is so proud and happy standing by the toilet flushing.

He was running and screaming through the house that "I DID IT!!!" and he could not find Mr. Handsome. Well, Mr. Handsome was outside taking Daisy May to go potty, and Little Monkey ran outside and yelled it to the entire neighborhood that he went poop on the potty!!! Our next door neighbor started to clap!! haha. It was pretty good. This is of him after he smacked his Daddy's hand in a High Five, and he turned around and pumped his little arms saying, "YES!!!".

It was a wonderful night. I loved seeing my little Monkey get so excited about what he did! Hopefully, that we well be on the down slide from here on out.

Not Me Monday!!!!!

Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her site to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week.

I am not sitting at work wishing I was at home and hanging out with Mr. Handsome and Little Monkey.
I did not make from scratch, 30,000 calories a piece carrot cake with cream cheese icing this weekend when i am on a diet. I definately did not do that.
I did not sit on hold with verizon for 45 minutes on Sunday to be told that I needed to call in Monday to schecdule a technition to come out when all I had was one measley question. And I definately did not call verizon on Monday to be told that because i dont have an "internal cabel connection" that it was going to cost me 40-90 dollars to switch rooms for my computer.
I did not want to reach through the phone and hit that poor customer service rep that had a huge attitude with me the entire time. No i did not.

Oh, Little Monkey!!!

On Sunday, little Monkey was in a great and crazy mood! He was so excited because we moved his room from the one he is in now to a much bigger room. The other room was a guest bedroom, but Little Monkey really needed the space since Santa brought him a HUGE train table. The Poor guy had no room to move in the one he was in. So after running around like a crazy boy, this is what Daisy May did.

She was hiding from all of the noise!!! She burried her head into the couch. She was not happy about what was going on.

For some unknown reason, Monkey thought it was hysterical to yell in this thing until he was black and blue in the face. Oh the joy of being amused so easily!!!

Poor Whiskey hated the noise too. He burried his head into Mr. Handsome's chest.

Little Monkey had a hard time this weekend with potty training. He took a really late nap, fell asleep around 5pm watching his tv in his room. He only took about a 10 min nap earlier in the day, so we let him sleep a little bit. Well when he we tried to wak him up around 6pm, this is what we found...

The poor little guy went to the bathroom in his pants!!! I felt so bad for him. I tried to wake him up over and over and over again, but every time i would say his name, he would just go back to sleep. Then when I told him that we had to clean him up because he went potty in his pants, he woke up for about a minute. After i went out of the room to get the bathroom ready for clean up and a warm washcloth, this is what I came back to.
On a good note, I got a Wii this weekend! I got the Wii and Wii Fit. It is soooo amazing. I tried it out at my Mama's house since she got one for Christmas. The Wii fit is so much fun! It does Yoga, strength training, aerobics, and balance training. Wow, does it really work. I have had so much fun doing my workout on there, I really do love it!!!!

Meet Me in St. Louie Louie!!!

I did a little blog today about my little monkey, but this one is dedicated to my home town, St. Louis.
We just recently came back from visiting for a week. Gosh, I really forget how much I miss it there! I love it. It reminds me so much of growing up, I did live there for 18 years of my life. I had a great time with my Mama and Daddy. I got to see my Aunt and Uncle, who I also miss dearly. My Sissy, who I miss so much sometimes it makes me cry. Actually, I miss everyone so much it makes me cry!!!! I also saw my little nephew, who actually isn't so little anymore. I can't believe that guy is already 11 years old!!
I mainly wanted to write this to let them know how much I loved seeing everyone, and how much they mean to me. I love being an Air Force Wife, as I have said before, but being away from home sometimes is really hard, and my poor hubby has to deal with all of those emotions. Sorry Baby!!!!
I love the cold, and I got a ton of it being up there. It was 2 degrees! as my mom would say, "Oh, for the love of God, it is just to cold!" . I was in Heaven. The Man above loves this little joke he is playing on me with sticking me in Florida.
I love my home town, Good Ole' Imperial, Missouri.
I loved seeing my best friend since 7th grade, Lydia. She is the best, and I wish her Godson could be near her more often, because he just loves his Lydia. I miss my Lydia too!
Mr. Handsome likes St. Louis also. We both had such a nice time being away from work and sitting on our rears! We got to sit in my parents condo watching TV in front of the fire, reading and just plain be bums. Oh man was that great!
Little Monkey had a great time, but got cabin fever. He would want to go outside and play so bad, but as soon as he would feel the cold, he would look up and say, "It's too cold Mommy. I'll go inside now!". Sorry Bubby!

So there is my little tribute to my home town, oh and Go Cards!!! (even though it is not baseball season, I am a die hard Cardinals Fan).

NO MORE TV!!! IM NOT KIDDING.....

Good morning to all!!!
So of course I am at work doing this on a break, but I just had to get this on here. This morning was another trial and tribulation with little monkey. See, he has his own TV in his room, and is in love with Noggin. For all other mommies, i'm sure you know what i'm talking about. For those who do not, it is a TV station that has all toddler shows on it. He loves it.
Well, we have in the past, let him watch TV until he goes to sleep around 8:30. Now that he is getting older, not so much. He will stay up until 11:00 just so he can watch one more show, and of course, I am the one who gets little monkey ready for school in the mornings! :)
So this morning, Little Monkey was especially cranky. I have to wake him up earlier now, around 6:30, so he can go potty. He does not like it. I get him undressed because for some reason, it was freezing in the sunny state of Florida last night, and he has a flannel footie sleeper on. so he has to get naked to go potty. The poor guy was cold and cranky.
Needless to say, we had a nice little tantrum this morning. He was cold, but did not want to get dressed!!!! I tried to explain to him a thousand times that it will make him be warm, but oh no, he wanted his way...wow, is he stubborn. HAHA.
It also didn't help that mommy got a little frustrated and told him he can no longer watch TV until he goes to sleep in the middle of his tantrum. oops on mommy's part!! Good thing Mr. Handsome was there to help me out calm litle monkey down.
On another note, we do have a nice little game going with the potty training. If he goes 7 whole days with out making "a mess" as he calls it, he can have a special suprise. God only knows what that little monkey is scheming up in his head for his special suprise. We are going to pick it out this weekend so he knows what it is, and he has his eyes on the prize!!! Hopefully that will help. He did have an accident on the playground at school yesterday. He was just playing to hard to remember! Poor guy.....

First time.......

So, this is the first time i'm trying the blog world. Well, trying to write in it at least. I have been going to different blogs for a while now, and I thought, what the heck? I want to try and do this. I have family all over the great U.S of A, so why not do a blog? That way, they can keep up with my day to day progress of my home that I now dub "The Circus". It is definately a zoo at my house, which I absolutely love. I have been married for 4 1/2 years to my husband, and have a 2 1/2 year old little man who I love to death. I have a 7 month old furry little girl, Daisy May, and a 1 year old furry little man, Whiskey. Yes, it does get crazy in my life....

For starters, I am an Air Force Wife. Love it to death. My daddy (yes everyone I still call him Daddy) is also in the Air Force. He was reserves by the time I came around, but lets just say that I have been around it all of my life. I would not change being an AF Wife for anything. I love it, and so does my hubby.

So enough about the background, more about day to day stuff.

We are going through a great stage with little monkey, potty training. Let me tell you how fun this is. On Tuesday, his day care teacher tells me that he did not go potty in his pull ups all day, and we should start trying really hard to train. Needless to say, we have been trying hard for the past 4 months. Anyways, we get little monkey home, and both me and hubby tell him how proud we are of him!!! I mean, that is no small thing for him. We tell him that tonight you need to tell us when you have to go potty, and tomorrow you are wearing, drum roll please, Big Boy Underwear to school tomorrow! He was so excited. Well Wednesday went without a hitch. It was great. Notice I said WednesDAY. Well, Wednesday night was a harrrrddd night. He came into the living room where I was watching the news, and said to me, "Mommy, I'm wet." So off we went to the bathroom, and I asked if he still needed to go, and he said yes. So I yank down his pants, and behold the lovely pile of poop that my son made in his pants. Went all over the bathroom. It was a mess. Not the best of nights. Thank God for little boys!!!!!!!
